Hey!
ReplyDeleteNice move. I'm also supporting Occupy Nigeria. Could you please add me to the list?
The link's http://misspweddyface.blogspot.com/2012/01/gej-presidential-palace-subsidy-must.html
Thanks.
Great job, Adura. I feel slightly handicapped because I am not on ground but all I can do, I will do.
ReplyDeleteGreat song, Aduke!
Very nice video. I will steal this to my blog, along with what you wrote. Thanks :P
ReplyDeletePrism: Permission to steal! Lol.
ReplyDeleteNakedSha: You've done well, dearie.
MissPweddyface: Your link is up, Missy. Thanks.
Keep up the good work.
ReplyDelete'Lara: Thanks, dear. Your link is already up. Love your post. I'll be along with my 'signature' at yours, soon:)
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful. I love this song and video - really captures the protests over the last week (has it really only been a week since the strike began???? Wow)
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding my blog. I really appreciate it
ReplyDeleteMiss.Fab: according to Wikipedia, "Occupy Nigeria" protest began on Monday 2nd January, so it is two weeks old tomorrow. I did my first protest post on 3rd January. I had no idea that Nigerians would be so passionate about the cause. The campaign continues.
ReplyDelete@ilola: You're welcome dear and thank you too for adding your voice to the campaign.
@Adura, great job you're doing and thanks for adding my blog on your list. I will continue to make my voice heard until we achieve the Nigeria of our dreams. Like I always say, doing nothing is no longer an option, otherwise what do I tell my children when they grow up?
ReplyDeleteThe struggle for a better Nigeria has only just begun.
Naija4Life: Thanks, Bro. We're all in this together. Well done on your good work too. Like you said, doing nothing is no longer an option. We must fight for a better future for Nigeria. The struggle is definitely worth it.
ReplyDeleteYou're right... I knew it felt longer than a week, but for some reason all I could remember was the announcement about the strike starting on Jan. 9. Unless I imagined that...
ReplyDeleteI think that's the NLC strike, Miss Fab.
Delete"Occupy Nigeria" started their campaign on January 2nd. I was initially confused too but they are two separate campaigns. The later campaign of 9/1 is that of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC). "Occupy Nigeria" which began its protest on 2/1 is led by Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Save Nigeria Group (SNG).
